About SafeNY
SafeNY is an independent statistical research bureau. We analyze public FMCSA records into carrier safety metrics. We are not legal counsel, and nothing here predicts the outcome of any case.
Federal data & methodology versioning
Every metric is derived from four federal sources — the FMCSA Motor Carrier Census, SMS BASIC scores, L&I insurance filings, and the MCMIS Crash File. The methodology is versioned and hash-pinned for reproducibility: the current release is v6.5.h (SHA 302bbf71…). Full formulas, calibration, and reproducibility steps: /methodology. Algorithmic governance and the carrier-response protocol: /governance.
Legal-advertising compliance (ABA Model Rule 5.4)
SafeNY is not a law firm and does not render legal advice. The platform is supported exclusively through flat-rate legal advertising and directory inventory; it strictly prohibits case revenue-sharing, contingency splits, and referral-fee allocations with participating attorneys. All intake routing conforms to American Bar Association Model Rule 5.4. Participating attorneys independently evaluate every prospective matter and retain full professional independence.
Operator & Data Infrastructure
SafeNY is engineered and maintained by Nodal Logics LLC, an independent data infrastructure firm based in Wyoming.
The platform operates as a strictly impartial, automated federal data pipeline. To maintain absolute analytical objectivity and eliminate any perception of editorial bias, SafeNY is institutionally managed without public-facing personalities, authors, or editorial staff. Operator identities are strictly decoupled from the platform by design; there are no opinions here, only the objective federal record.
