About Safeny
Safeny is an independent, nationwide analytical platform with 2.1 million U.S. motor carriers on file across all 50 states, publishing in-depth crash profiles for 90,000+ carriers with federal crash records. Every profile is built entirely from public FMCSA federal records — crash history, violations, out-of-service rates, and insurance filings. Safeny also connects people injured in truck or bus crashes with a participating law firm in their state — as an independent advertising service, not a law firm or lawyer referral service. Safeny is not affiliated with FMCSA, USDOT, or any state government.
Highway safety in the United States has always advanced the same way: the records the government collects are made public, and anyone can examine them. Crash reports, roadside inspections, and insurance filings are kept as public record precisely so they can be read. Safeny continues that practice in one narrow lane — it compiles the federal government's own FMCSA records on commercial motor carriers so that a person injured in a truck crash can reach facts that are already public, in one place, without filing a records request.
Federal data & methodology versioning
Every metric is derived from four federal sources — the FMCSA Motor Carrier Census, SMS BASIC scores, L&I insurance filings, and the MCMIS Crash File. Legal-advertising compliance (ABA Model Rule 5.4)
Safeny is not a law firm and does not render legal advice. The platform is supported by flat-fee legal advertising from participating law firms; it prohibits case revenue-sharing, contingency splits, and referral-fee arrangements, so that participating attorneys retain full professional independence consistent with ABA Model Rule 5.4. Participating attorneys independently evaluate every prospective matter.

The continuity Safeny claims is methodological, not institutional. It carries forward the public-records tradition that highway-safety oversight is built on — the practice of making federal safety data examinable — not the authority of any agency that once practiced it. The data originates with the federal government; the analysis, and this platform, do not.
Safeny is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the State of New York, the NY Governor's Traffic Safety Committee (GTSC), the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), or any government agency.
